God’s people are called to serve Him and to love one another. The mission of the C.A.R.E. Ministry is to offer Christlike COMPASSION to others by putting our love into ACTION while building RELATIONSHIPS and a memorable EXPERIENCE with friends and family.
Senior care – visit shut-in people connected to our Church
Meals – prepare and deliver meals to our Church members who are experiencing a change of lifestyle such as grieving over the death of a loved one, celebrating the birth of a new baby, recovering from an illness, etc.
Home & Hospital Visitation – visit those who are hurting in hospitals or homes to provide prayer, comfort, and encouragement
Bag of Blessings – make quilted blankets and bags, fill bags with small gifts, and deliver them to our Church members in need of comfort
Housecleaning – provide basic housecleaning services to those who are temporarily struggling to meet these needs themselves
Transportation – provide transportation for hospital visits, airport pickups, or temporary/long-term handicapped individuals
Spiritual care – minister in homes by leading individual Bible devotions and prayer
Moving – help with moving furniture and items from one place to another
Home repair and yard work – meet minor home repair needs to those who are temporarily struggling to meet these needs themselves.

Anyone can help C.A.R.E for others! You can help in the C.A.R.E. Ministry if you are a newcomer to Lavon Drive or have attended for twenty years. You can help if you could do any of the ideas suggested above or if your health would only permit you to make phone calls or write notes.
