Pastor Ivan brings a great message on how we can plan on "Ending the Year Well." He reflects on Abraham's story of the request to sacrifice his son in Genesis 22:1-5. This is a well known story not on for Christians, but for both the Jewish and Islamic cultures as well. However, Abraham's blind faith in God did not just occur miraculously. He had been walking with God for many years, and had made numerous mistakes along the way. Pastor Ivan uses this to remind us to look back over 2021 and to remember the tests that God laid before us.
