We start a new Christmas series today, Socks & Underwear. The story of the arrival of Jesus in Bethlehem had a bit of a "socks and underwear" feel to it. This newborn seemed ordinary, but as we know the gift the manger contained was the most precious one. And the birth of Christ follows that same pattern if you only look at the wrapping.
