Rev. Ryan Johnston Music Pastor

Bro Ryan joined the staff of Lavon Drive in 2008. He comes to the church with 12 years of experience leading church music, having directed adult choirs, children’s choirs, and praise teams. He is also professionally skilled in conducting, voice, saxophone, piano and guitar.

In 2007 Bro Ryan graduated for Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas with his Master of Music – Conducting. Prior to that, he graduated from the Wheaton College Conservatory of Music in Wheaton, Illinois with a Bachelor of Music – Vocal Performance, graduating Magna Cum Laude.

Bro Ryan has many talents and skills outside of music. He is a web and graphic designer, with extensive experience in non-profit and small business design and marketing.

Bro Ryan and his wife Sarah were married on July 24, 2004 in Niwot, Colorado, and both have become an integral part of the ministry at Lavon Drive.
